Sign Out of Your Account

Learn what changes when you sign out, what returns when you sign back in, and how sign-out differs from deleting an account.

Overview

You can sign out from your profile screen in Topo.

Signing out removes the sign-in state from this device. It does not delete your account or data saved in Topo, including your profile, rank, and cards.

What You Can Do

  • Remove only the sign-in state from the device while keeping your account when you want to pause using Topo.
  • Sign back in later with the same Apple account and continue using information saved on the server.
  • Disconnect before changing devices or taking a temporary break without deleting data.

Steps

  1. Open your profile screen.
  2. Choose Sign Out.
  3. Confirm that the sign-in state has been removed.
  4. When you want to use Topo again, sign in with the same account.

How It Differs from Account Deletion

  • Sign Out removes the sign-in state only from the current device.
  • Delete Account removes all account data in Topo.
  • Use Sign Out when you want to stop using Topo while keeping your data.
  • Use Delete Account when you want to remove everything, including your profile, rank, drafts, and published cards.

Notes

  • Features that require sign-in are unavailable after you sign out.
  • Signing out alone does not delete data in Topo.
  • Deleting your account completely requires the separate Delete Account action.

If It Does Not Work

  • If the display does not change after signing out, reopen the screen and check its latest state.
  • To use Topo again, sign in with the same account.
  • If you meant to remove data, check Delete Account rather than Sign Out.
  • Check Account Deletion and Recovery in Topo
  • Check Your Profile and Rank in Topo
