Get Started with Topo

Overview

Topo is an app for viewing, creating, and publishing cards tied to places. The usual first step is to browse nearby cards, then sign in when you want to publish your own cards or add favorites.

What You Can Do

  • Browse cards around your current map area in Stream
  • Manage your own cards in My Cards
  • Revisit saved cards and places in Favorites
  • Sign in with Apple to publish cards and add favorites

Steps

  1. Open the app and look through the map and card list flow.
  2. Open a card to check its photo, text, and place details.
  3. Sign in with Apple when you want to unlock account-based features.
  4. After signing in, you can create cards, publish them, and favorite other cards.

Notes

  • Card results change based on the map center, not only your current location.
  • If there are few nearby cards, Topo may show cards from a slightly farther place.
  • Signing in does not mean your exact location or personal information is publicly shared as-is.

If It Doesn’t Work

  • If nearby cards do not look right, confirm that the map center is where you expect.
  • If publishing or favorites are unavailable, make sure you are signed in.
  • If the screen updates slowly, check your connection and reopen the app.
  • Create, Publish, and Share Cards in Topo
