Overview
You can save the center of the map as a Favorite Place in Topo.
Add a place from the capsule-shaped menu on the map, then manage saved places from your profile screen.
What You Can Do
- Save the current map center as a favorite place so you can return quickly to areas you often check.
- Change the keyword for each saved place, using names or purposes that make sense to you.
- Remove places you no longer need and keep the list focused on places you use.
- Reorder saved places so the ones you use most are easier to reach.
Add a Favorite Place
- Open the map and move its center to the place you want to save.
- Open the capsule-shaped menu.
- Choose Add Center to Favorites.
- Enter any keyword, such as Home or School, and save.
If a nearby place is already saved, Topo may update that existing place instead of adding a duplicate.
Where to Manage Favorite Places
Manage favorite places under Favorite Places on your profile screen. There you can rename, remove, and reorder saved places.
Management Steps
- Open your profile screen.
- Open Favorite Places.
- Choose the action you need:
- Change a keyword
- Remove a place you no longer need
- Reorder the list
Notes
- Add places from the map menu, not from the profile screen.
- A favorite place stores a keyword for identifying the place and its coordinates.
- You cannot save or change a keyword to an empty value.
If It Does Not Work
- If you cannot add a place, confirm that the map center is on the place you want to save.
- If a saved place does not appear in your profile, confirm from the map menu that registration completed.
- If you only want to change its name, use Change Keyword instead of removing it.
