About the Map Heatmap

Learn how to read the heatmap shown on the map in Topo v1.1 and how it relates to your current location.

About the Map Heatmap

Overview

In v1.1, the map can show a heatmap that represents activity in the city and clusters of public cards.

Places where the heatmap appears stronger are places where public cards or Scouter observations may be more active. Zooming in or moving the map can help you find nearby cards and topics.

How to Read It

  • Stronger colors indicate places where public cards or local topics tend to gather.
  • Moving the map helps you explore cards and topics around the area you are viewing.
  • The heatmap can help you notice places Scouter is observing or places where public cards are clustered.

Privacy

The heatmap does not publish your current location as-is. It is a broad display for understanding activity around places.
