Overview
When you create a card with a photo, Topo can use Apple Intelligence to generate a draft for the card body.
It drafts text from what appears in the photo, tags you add, and the emoji you choose, so you can begin with a short draft instead of an empty text field.
What You Can Do
- Generate a draft from the photo as a quick starting point for writing a card.
- Change the tone to match the mood or atmosphere you want to share, even when using the same photo.
- Add tags to the photo to guide the draft toward details or points you want it to include.
- Use the draft as-is, or rewrite only the parts you want to make it your own.
How Automatic Text Generation Works
- Start creating a card by taking a photo or choosing one from your photo library.
- The Apple Intelligence text-generation screen appears with a draft based on the photo.
- Choose an emoji for your mood and Apple Intelligence generates a draft in a tone that matches it.
- If the draft does not match the photo well, add tags to the photo to adjust what the draft focuses on.
- Apply a draft you like and continue editing it as the card body.
- If you do not need a draft, skip this step and enter the card body yourself.
Information Used for a Draft
- Content recognized from the photo with Apple’s standard Vision framework
- Tags you add yourself
- The mood you select with an emoji
- Context available while creating the card, such as place and time
Generated text is a suggestion. You can rewrite it freely after applying it.
Notes
- This feature is available only in environments that support Apple Intelligence.
- If you have already entered card text, automatic generation is not intended to overwrite it.
- Review generated text carefully before saving or publishing it.
When It Is Unavailable or Does Not Meet Your Needs
- If generation fails, or Apple Intelligence cannot generate text because of safety restrictions, the text field remains empty or an error message appears.
- If a draft does not describe the photo strongly enough, review the suggested tags and generate again.
- If you need to say more, refine the text on the card creation screen after applying a draft.
